I can't say enough great things about this place. I needed a private room for 16 people, and they were so accommodating in every way. Our server Karen was a rockstar! She juggled getting drinks for all the standing guests, and later kept track of those seated people who ordered dinner, and gave every one of us our own check, with no mistakes. And she was fast, efficient, and unflappable the whole time! And the food was DELICIOUS and came out pretty quickly, considering how large our group was. I will be back, Union Jack's!

We came here after a festival in Columbia and it was a good time. We stumbled upon trivia which was really fun! I had the fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious. The service was a little slow and I was only able to get one old fashioned because they ran out of bitters. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience. I'll def be back.

Met some friends here on a Saturday for lunch. We started off with an order of pretzels with cheese sauce and fried pickles. Both appetizers were delish! For entrees, I went with the chicken tenders and an order of fries. I really liked batter on the tenders, it gave them a nice crisp. The fries were just meh. My fiancé ordered off the brunch menu and got the Crème brûlée French toast. He said it was "surprisingly delicious." All entree portions were very large that most of us left with a box in hand. There are some pool tables and darts near the back of the restaurant- def a good place to get a group together!

The reviews are definitely harsh, based on my two experiences here. The ambiance is quite nice, with tons of bar seating and dining. The customer service was also excellent, especially the first time around. As for the food, it was pretty good! I ordered fish & chips both times, and they were good, with great portions. My girl ordered their beet salad, and she was also rather impressed.

Just a short walk from Meriweather post, this British pub makes legit fish and chips. Decent tap selection which includes 2 English ciders. We visited before the Zack Brown concert, and the live band playing at the pub for right in. Their outside patio was packed 2 hours before the show, so service was a bit slow to handle such a crowd, but service was friendly and welcoming. Inside there is a large area to grab a pint and stand around. Menu is beyond British pub fare, to include salads and even shrimp tacos.
